With so many people stuck at home at the moment, we've thrown together a dirt-cheap Hero Kids LOCKDOWN bundle to get you started with role-playing with your kids.

DeleteHow many 6-sided dice do you need to play the game with 2 players?
ReplyDeleteHero Kids needs at least 1 die (which would need to be rolled multiple times). Better to have 3 dice. And ideally, players would have 3 or 4 dice each.

ReplyDeleteI get it in french because well ... we in France ! And it is really good. Its easy for kids to get in the story without too much mechanism overthinking. But you can feel some D&D spirit and the transition should be easy at time. Kids 8 and 10 and loving it

ReplyDeleteI stumbled across Hero Kids on drivethrurpg.com while looking for something a little simpler than D&D for my niece and nephew, and promptly bought the lockdown bundle because I can never pass up a good deal... now I've got an email from shutterfly saying I can get unlimited 4x6 prints for free (caveat - I believe you need to be a current customer, and using the app. Also, I use them a lot for gifts etc, so there could be a "loyal customer" thing going on, as well) and I'm thinking map tiles, monster cards, etc. Before I deconstruct the PDFs, is there any way I can get the original images for the map tiles?
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, if you have Adobe Acrobat, you can extract the source images for the maps and Hero Cards from the PDF files. At that print size, it's too small for the maps, but a reasonable size for the Hero and Monster cards.

Hi Renato, the Lockdown bundles have been unpublished. The Complete Bundles are your best option!
