So I've put off reaching out to y'all to ask this, but now is as good a time as ever. Would you prefer the Hero Kids stand-ups and hero cards in B&W (for coloring by the kids) or in color?
The reason I'm asking is because if I switch to color heroes, I don't have the capacity to maintain B&W variations of the hero cards and stand-ups.
Let me know in the comments what you'd prefer!
It's a hard choice, would be amazing with both options, but if I had to choose I would say pre colored
ReplyDeleteThe colour is nice, but I think I'd go with black and white. The hero cards print nicely as is and I expect they wouldn't print as nicely on a black and white printer if the characters are coloured.
ReplyDeleteI'm for color.
ReplyDeleteIf it's one or the other, definitely black and white. My kids love coloring their heroes before they start an adventure. Why can't we get both, though? Is this for a physical product or for printing? Black and White can easily be included in any digital product, right?
ReplyDeleteB&W - the kids love colouring their heros!
ReplyDeleteIn most illustrator programs you can select all objects and set the fill color to white. In this way you can keep the color version and export the black and white version when needed. No more duplicate edits needed.
ReplyDeleteThe issue is mostly in the management and preparation of two sets of PDFs for the color and B&W variations.
DeleteI can handle the color/B&W art assets.
Wow! talk about a difficult decision!
ReplyDeleteFor me I really stress the importance of really engaging into Hero Kids and RPGs and the chance for the players to customize their Heros with colour of their own is really fun and helps them really connect to their character.
I Vote B/W
